Buy tickets at any tobacco shop or at the ticket window in Piazza Italia, the bus stop/piazza at the end of Corso Vannucci. You can also get a free orario (schedule) there. We recommend the 10-ride ticket; to get it say “Posso avere un biglietto da dieci corse”? Once you get on, feed the ticket in (if the machine blurps, turn the ticket around) and get it stamped. You can ride until the time stamped on the ticket. Buses that go to the train station from Piazza Italia are the r and ts. For help with bus routes, refer to the helpful bus route maps available at the stand in Piazza Italia. Tickets cost €1,50 and are good on Perugia’s MiniMetrò and on the fcu commuter trains for seventy minutes.
P.S.
We bet you are wondering if buses here in Perugia can go on the water like in this picture. Well not…not yet! And anyway the lake Trasimeno is so low that soon they will have to substitute the Trasimeno ferries with Trasimeno buses.
